All the beds were very comfy. Bedrooms spacious with their own on suites. Lovely open plan living room, dining area and kitchen with all the utensils we needed and quality appliances. We just loved everything about Aveton Cottage. The isolation, it was so quiet at night. The property was very well presented. Spacious with quality fittings and appliances. The large heated indoor swimming pool was brilliant and was for our group’s sole use. The games room and the gym were also an added bonus. Great location too for Kingsbridge and Salcombe beaches. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage. It sells itself....

What a wonderful property. We could not fault it in anyway. Had a blissful week. Facilities were perfect from pool, games room, crockery, kitchen appliances, beds were so comfortable with luxurious quilt and pillows. I would recommend this stunning property to all....

Our stay at Aveton was wonderful, the property far exceeded our expectations - the photos really do not do it justice. The pool was bigger than it appears online and the whole pool/games room/gym complex was fantastic and well equipped. The owner Helen was really helpful on the occasions when I needed to contact her. The property has solar panels and environmentally friendly cleaning products and encourages recycling and food waste composting which is great and unusual in rental properties....

We stayed with friends to celebrate my 75th Birthday and had an excellent short break. The cottage is bigger than it looks in the pictures and was very comfortable but the main attraction was the pool and games room which provided hours of fun. So special to have it all to ourselves. Many thanks to the owner for all the little extras. We have been using Classic Cottages for many years and we are never disappointed but this was extra special. Can recommend Avon Mill Garden Centre for excellent lunches, cakes etc plus of course plants and gifts....
