Second visit to this lovely property in a fabulous part of Cornwall. Sixpenny Barn is a beautifully renovated granite barn. The location (which we knew well, having stayed for B&B at farm across the lane for some years) is a very peaceful and beautiful location, in a small hamlet high on the West Penwith moors. It is a good place for walks or just relaxing. Some may find it a bit remote as there is travelling to do for supplies - which has to be borne in mind. But it's only a few minutes by car to, say, Penzance or St.Ives. There are no shops nor other facilities nearby. There is an infrequent bus service at the bottom of the lane at the hamlet of New Mill, 3/4 mile. As long as these matters are understood then the cottage is very recommendable for a holiday. In fact the location itself is a main reason for choosing it. It is not perhaps a suitable place travelling to some of the areas and locations which you recommended and suggested, being rather a long way....
