For the adventurous… surrounded by enchanting Cornish woodland, Edhen is a magical treehouse retreat, perfect for an off-grid getaway deep in the heart of stunning north Cornwall. With the delights of the coast just a short walk away and Tintagel, a land of myths and legends close by, adventurers will love this peaceful escape situated in 43 acres of Cornish wilderness.

From the moment you arrive, you fall under the spell of Edhen. Follow the woodland footpath to your treetop abode and climb the ladder into the tree canopy where your little piece of heaven awaits. Edhen has a cosy sofa where you can enjoy the tranquillity of your magical abode with views through the floor-to-ceiling windows, or perhaps get lost in a good book, the perfect holiday pastime. Up a further internal ladder, you will find a mezzanine double bed where you can rest and recharge ready for the day's adventures.

Outside you have your very own firepit where you can spend idyllic evenings watching the flickering flames, listening to the sounds of the gentle rustling breeze through the trees and watching the twinkling stars.

Kudhva is a unique collection of secluded hideaways that share a charming alfresco dining area and kitchen. There's a gorgeous wood-fired hot tub with far-reaching views out towards the Atlantic Ocean. You are welcome to book this for private use before arriving directly with the owner. The shared kitchen is equipped with fridges, gas burners and Yeti coolers which you can take back to your hideaway. You can enjoy sociable al fresco dining here around the large outdoor tables or take your feast back to your own private area, the choice is yours. Local delicacies, drinks, toiletries and even Kudvha clothing are also available to purchase, and during summer, The Field Kitchen is open on various evenings for mouth-watering meals. Hot showers, toilets and wash basins are located next to the kitchen with luxurious local toiletries to enjoy.

Exploring your surroundings is a must here as it's a nature lover's delight. Take the short, winding footpath through woodland and discover a cascading waterfall which tumbles 40ft over a rocky ledge into a peaceful reservoir. This blissfully secluded area invites you to refresh under the cool tumbling water or sit and reflect on the wooden pontoon.

This tranquil setting is the perfect place to relax and unwind, you may never want to leave your peaceful abode. Should you decide to explore further afield, north Cornwall has lots to offer. Trebarthwith Strand Beach is a mere 25-minute stroll away, with a mile-long stretch of golden sand, ideal for surfers, swimmers and paddle boarders when conditions allow. Walkers should head for the coast path which takes in the dramatic cliffs, stunning beaches and pretty fishing villages of the north coast.

Tintagel, the land of myths and legends is a short drive away and a visit here is a must to see the iconic castle and spectacular footbridge to the island, timed tickets should be booked in advance.

Foodies should head for Port Isaac, home to a smattering of Michelin-starred restaurants offering menus created using local, seasonal delights and the freshest of fish from the Atlantic.

This is an adults-only hideaway. The track to the car park is very bumpy and unsuitable for low vehicles. Take extra care on the ladder to the treehouse and the mezzanine bed as both are steep. Private one-hour time slots for the hot tub are bookable with the owner, before arrival, at £40 an hour. Local breakfast hampers are available on request.
