Tucked away in a quiet location, yet just a stone's throw from bustling Bridport and the Jurassic Coast, you will find Bluebells. Situated at the end of a pretty row of cottages, this charming home is a wonderful holiday bolthole.

As you step through the front door you will begin to feel that holiday relaxation wash over you, as the cosy and characterful features become clear. From the hallway you have a glimpse right through the rear stable-door to the beautiful garden. Just off the hallway there is a spacious dining-room, providing the perfect spot to sit together and enjoy meals. The sitting-room has true cottage charm, with country-style furnishings and plenty of space to snuggle down with a good book. If you're feeling energetic, why not challenge your friends/family on the Wii. Completing the ground floor is the kitchen/breakfast-room that provides a more informal spot to sit and savour a coffee, whilst admiring the garden. You are sure to be delighted with how well-equipped the kitchen is - you'll have everything you need to cook up that Sunday roast.

Both bedrooms at Bluebells are situated on the first floor, along with a family bathroom. Occupying the width of the house is the main bedroom, with two sash windows overlooking the front of the property. This room is wonderfully light and spacious and has been decorated thoughtfully to emphasise the peaceful location. Adults and children alike will be delighted with the twin bedroom that has lovely views across the garden. Next to the twin bedroom is the family bathroom, with bath and separate shower enclosure.

Heading into the garden from the kitchen/breakfast-room is a real treat, as this is a garden that was originally curated by a floral artist. There is so much to catch your eye whatever the season and we are sure you will make fond memories relaxing in this space. Your four-legged friend will also have plenty to explore and can take shade under the beautiful apple tree on those balmy summer days.

Bradpole is a small village on the northern edge of Bridport that boasts a parish church and local butcher. There are wonderful countryside walks from the door, including to Happy Island (a protected Green Space). Easily walkable in the next village is a fantastic local pub, The Loders Arms, less than a mile away from Bluebells so ideal if you need a pit stop. The market town of Bridport is walkable (partly along the River Asker) in approximately 30 minutes, depending how leisurely your pace. Bridport has a famous twice weekly market and you can find a range of goodies from sweet treats to antiques.

On to the coast from Bridport you will find the small harbour settlement of West Bay. Here you can enjoy magnificent vistas across the beaches and cliffs. Whatever time of year you are visiting, this area has so much to offer; crabbing in the harbour with an ice cream, seaside walks watching the waves and hunkering down in local restaurants to enjoy some fabulous local seafood.

West Dorset has a truly enduring beauty, from the rugged coast to the undulating countryside. There is so much local history to explore, local produce to try and you are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches. We are sure that a stay at Bluebells, in this wonderful part of the county, will leave you wanting to return again and again.
