French doors open onto a sheltered balcony with splendid uninterrupted views over Fishguard Harbour. The sumptuous bedrooms are furnished with Laura Ashley beds and three have sea views.

Children will fall in love with the Toblerone-shaped den hidden behind cupboard doors and accessed via its own little ladder. The hideaway is strewn with bean bags and equipped with a TV.

Outside a large decked terrace gives way to a small sloping lawn, a lovely space for al fresco dining on warm evenings and fully equipped with a dining-table and gas barbecue. Extra outdoor storage is provided for surfboards, bicycles and kayaks. Two sit-on-top kayaks are provided for guests’ use, with paddles and flotation aids provided.
