Golden Cock Cottage is a lovely retreat for those wishing to switch off. Beds comfortable and enough bedrooms to allow for space for the whole family. I would go back again as the garden, woods and surrounding views make for a special place to stay....

We loved our time at the cottage. Charming cottage, and great outdoor space for kids to explore and play. Beds were comfortable, lounges were good spaces to relax in the evening. The kitchen wasn’t clean when we arrived, spillage stains and crumbs on worktops and the table. Bin and cupboard fronts also not wiped from spillages. Didn’t take long to rectify but would have been nice to arrive and not need to do this ourselves. This wouldn’t put us off returning though, we had a great holiday week. ...

We chose this property so the family could meet up after a very difficult couple of years, so pleased we did. A beautiful house in idyllic setting, it exceeded our expectations. Lots of places of interest within easy reach, it really felt like a home from home and we would love to visit again soon....
