Enjoyed our holiday very much at Easter in September Cottage: the first rate new kitchen, very well equipped; lovely light and spacious living dining cooking space with great outlook on the garden; very comfortable beds and top quality furniture. We walked to beaches from the door, whatever the weather! The village is our favourite destination in Cornwall. We cannot recommend highly enough staying here. ...

Beautifully refurbished property in an ideal location for exploring the Roseland Peninsula. Just outside Portscatho - if you walk down it’s a long climb back a steep hill. Several lovely beaches within walking distance, and many more a short drive away. The Plume of Feathers is good for food but essential to book. We also visited Trelissick (NT) and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The latter is ideal for both ‘gardeners’ and children as there’s lots to see and do there. We had a day out in Truro (in the rain!) on the local bus - lots of shops, restaurants, and the cathedral. So much more to see and do a week is not long enough, and we plan to come back next year . A fabulous place to stay, one of the best we have stayed in. It had everything you could possibly need in the way of equipment. The garden was lovely just a shame that the weather wasn’t very good so did not have chance to sit outside. Can imagine that in the Summer it would be lovely when you can have the bi-fold doors open. It was great to have the woodburner, we used it every evening. Very spacious property. Lots of walks nearby so no need to use the car if you don’t want to. Two pubs in walking distance that do lovely meals. The Standard Inn does a lovely Sunday roast. The kitchen is very well equipped so cooked most evenings. We would definitely stay again. Mrs Cole...

We enjoyed our second stay at September Cottage as much , if not more, than before.. The addition of new outdoor furniture was great and we made the most of the lovely Autumn sunshine. We look forward to our next stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at September Cottage which was the perfect space for the two of us. It is tastefully decorated and nicely furnished and the bifold doors were perfect for sunny days where it would otherwise be just that little bit too chilly to eat outdoors! The garden is really lovely. The location was perfect for us. We love the area and already knew that we wouldn’t to need to move the car to find lovely walks on the doorstep. There are various footpaths that enable you to combine creek walks with coastal path walks.. The village shop in Portscatho is well stocked and there is an excellent Farm shop within walking distance. ...
