We have been very disappointed by our stay at 3 Harbour Court, and we’re surprised that the property is listed with Classic given the usual standard of accommodation. There are 3 main reasons for our dissatisfaction. Firstly there is an overwhelming smell of damp/mould throughout the stair access and the accommodation itself. I find it hard to believe that this hasn’t been mentioned in any of the reviews. It’s the type of smell that doesn’t just occur overnight. There was evidence of the mould on the window sealant and behind the shower. It’s not to say that the accommodation was unclean but clearly there is a damp issue which has left the space with an uncomfortable smell. Secondly the Harbour Club which is next door but one had music blearing until 1am on Saturday night, in addition to the intoxicated villagers who stood outside smoking. The music was so loud we could hear the lyrics! Definitely not conducive to a relaxing break, and again I find hard to believe that this hasn’t been mentioned in any of the reviews. Finally, the description of the property is dated. Tatums was not open at all and Tavola is no longer an Italian bar and restaurant. The parking is also slightly underplayed, if arriving late it is a pain to go back and forth to get the permit and the coast path has no lights! ...

Thanks so much for sharing your review on 3 Harbour Court. Although we weren't aware of your thoughts during your stay, we arranged for an inspection as soon as possible after you let us know. Whilst we couldn't find any significant evidence of damp at the time, we will closely monitor the situation - thanks for making us aware. It's very unusual to hear concerns about The Harbour Club being so lively in the winter season, and we can only apologise if you were disturbed. We're really sorry that your holiday experience wasn't all that you'd wished for but hope that you enjoyed exploring the beautiful local area. Julie, Customer Support ...

3 Harbour Court is an ideal place for couples to stay, right next to the beach with great views across the bay. Fantastic view and location in the centre of the village. The beach is on your doorstep. Buses through the village make other places on the Roseland peninsula very accessible if you don't want to drive.

This property is so well-situated right in the heart of Portscatho and on the South West Coastal path. It has the most amazing sea views. You could easily spend all day watching the changing seascape from the window. The apartment is well-appointed, very bright, comfortable and welcoming. It is well-served for facilities and good food: two pubs, a great pizzeria, the Hidden Hut and an amazing farm shop all accessible with no need to get in the car. There are also so many wonderful beaches and good walks all on the door step. We definitely intend to return....

Very central position so easy for pub, beach, shop. We didn’t need to use the car during our stay so don’t be put off by car parking being away from property.
