We have never been so happy in a cottage. Lighthouse Keep was unbelievable from start to finish. The fact we could sit in a hot tub of an evening and look at a working lighthouse was so atmospheric and worth the fee on its own. The beds were comfy, the showers were excellent and the kitchen contained everything we needed, including some ingredients we forgot! Oh and Welsh cakes! The views, the sea, the coastal walks were the reasons we booked, but lighthouse keep delivered so much more and kept surprising us throughout our holiday. We didn’t want to leave. ...

We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to get away from traffic and people ! We easily catered for 6 of us and had cosy evenings with the log burner going in the lounge and the open fire in the dining room, toasty. Great to come back from coastal walking and relax in the hot tub while watching the ships go by ( very close ) on their way in to Milford Haven and Pembroke Dock....

If you look up the meaning of retreat in the dictionary you will see a picture of this property. It is truly remote and provides the opportunity to completely cut off. The house is well equipped and offers the opportunity to both cook and bake at home, which is just as well as the distance to local amenities makes popping out a little difficult. Lovely property, great views, enjoyed watching the ships coming past through the kitchen window. The property is warm and comfortable, will definitely return for another holiday here.
