We really enjoyed our holidays at Hill Farm Cottage. It is a wonderful place to stay (even though our german car didn't like the potholes ;-D ), located in a beautiful area with squirrels and pheasants that popped to say hello. The very clean and well equiped cottage has everything you need and is a good base for exploring the weald and nearby properties of the National Trust. A perfect cottage for two. It had absolutely everything we needed. One thing we always check as soon as we arrive is the comfort of the bed and this one absolutely passed the test! Lots to see in the area if you like visiting National Trust properties, gardens and the coast. We have nothing but praise for this lovely hideaway in East Sussex....

Two very happy customers who enjoyed a wonderful week away. We loved the peace and quiet, the house was warm and inviting, so well appointed and very clean. There is also much to see and do in the area; we got the train into London from Battle for a day trip, visited National Trust castles and nearby towns and the coast, also went further afield into Kent. Great places to eat and lots of history to soak up. All Thoroughly enjoyable and a beautiful part of the country....
