Lovely cream tea awaiting on our arrival - much appreciated.
The heating lets the cottage down. In the "Overall value for money" section we would have given "Very good" if the heating had been better.

Old Sandpitts Cottage was the most beautiful cottage we have ever stayed in. We arrived on 22nd December and the owner had very thoughtfully put up a lovely garland, with lights, over the fireplace and also a decorated Christmas tree in the corner of the room. Talk about walking into instant Christmas! Thank you, Mrs May. The kitchen is wonderful, with every appliance one could possibly need and the all-singing, all-dancing shower is an amazing experience! The cottage was warm and cosy and we had the most relaxing time. Having its own long driveway really makes you feel you are totally isolated and away from the rest of the world. The kitchen was really well equipped. The cottage was in a superb location and felt incredibly private. I’m not sure how many people can stay at a rental with its own private driveway. We would love to return again.

Old Sandpitts Cottage is a beautiful cottage set in beautiful grounds. Fully equipped even down to salt & pepper! Everything thought of and all to hand.
