Excellent cottage in a lovely village. Definitely one to book again.

Nice property but not huge but does the job. Unfortunately you pay a premium to be in Lerryn which is the most beautiful location but restricts some families....

We're thrilled that you enjoyed Sweet Briar Cottage. It is such a lovely area with so much to offer away from the bustle of tourist life but within easy distance of those attractions should you wish to visit them. Donna, Customer Support

We had a lovely stay at Sweet Briar cottage. Lerryn itself is adorable. Our children played in the river most evenings and the store with its little ice cream hatch was delightful. The property itself is charming. From its very pretty exterior, it has a welcoming feel. It was clean and tidy throughout. The beds were soft and comfortable. We were grateful for the fresh milk on arrival so we could have a cup of tea after a long journey. The main family bathroom is small but the power shower is a joy. The garden is particularly special with its sweet treehouse and swing which our little ones really enjoyed. The seating area is just perfect to enjoy the evening sunshine with a glass of something and some nibbles. It is on a fairly steep slope so be aware if you have mobility issues. Sweet Briar is an ideal base to explore the nearby surrounding areas. Although Lerryn is tucked away, you don’t have to travel far to find local treasures....

This property is all about the location which is perfect. Absolutely loved Lerryn - great walks on the doorstep and brilliant little pub within stumbling distance of the front door. The property has been modernised to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. Could have done with an additional chair or larger sofa for a family of 5 with teenage children, but fine for younger families. Beds very comfy. The garden has lovely views down over the river - we spent a lot of time out here. Again, only minor gripe is that it would have been nice to have some proper garden furniture after a long day of walking....

Cute cottage in a lovely location.
Health and safety - beware when moving around the cottage as there are inconsistent floor levels, steps and stairs, presenting trip hazards (downstairs and landing) - even for the fit and able bodied.
