Loved the welcome basket with milk in the fridge on arrival - very thoughtful. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Loved the fresh pastries from the campsite shop in the morning. Great location for the nearby beaches. The hut was very well equipped with a comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend. We will be back!...

A wonderful and unique 3 night stay at Wild Pear! It rained and rained and rained, but we felt very cosy in the hut with the log burner on, plus the leaflet pack gave us loads of day out ideas despite the weather. Also, anyone around the 6ft mark need not to worry about hitting heads. The hut has a high ceiling throughout the living space and bathroom, so only the doorways to worry about. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will recommend and return when possible!...

Friendly, helpful and welcoming. Fantastic views, good walks, peaceful location.

Stunning panoramic sea view from the hut, which is beautifully decorated and cosy. Super relaxing and picturesque place for a break away from it all. Pub and boat café a short walk away from the hut. We walked the coastal path to Ilfracombe and went further afield in the car to Instow for a day trip. We only stayed for a weekend but there are lots of places to visit and more coastal path to walk close by. Highly recommended....

We had a wonderful stay in the Wild Pear Shepherd's Hut. A rustic-feeling yet very modern and comfortable cabin - two induction hobs with a whistling kettle, a fridge, a toaster, an electric shower and all the crockery and cutlery you'll need. Don't pack too heavily - there's limited wardrobe space, but definitely enough to get by. The pull-down bed gave us our best sleep in months and it was gorgeous to wake up in the middle of the night and hear the rain on the roof. The coastal path offers walks right from the front door that take in wooded areas and seaside, and local towns Combe Martin and Ilfracombe are close by car (or a walk if you're up for it). Siân was a brilliant host - booking us tables for the local restaurants and giving lots of great local advice. We'd definitely come back :)...
