The 'round room' really makes the most of the views and gives easy access to the garden.

Double doors lead out from the twin bedroom to the garden.

There's even a second kitchen/ dining area on the ground floor- how handy is that!
Mowhay Barns sits in an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens.
There is a pond in the adjoining field, overlooked by the garden, which attracts all kinds of birds and wildlife (please take care of children).
The garden is heavenly and will delight both young and old alike (there is a second smaller pond in the garden, take care of children).
With such a wonderful backdrop you are sure to enjoy meals outside as often as you can.
The coastline is quite stunning.
As the tide goes out the tiny coves become a long stretch of golden sand.
The delightful twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are close by.
Mount Edgcumbe House and Park are well worth a visit.
There are some wonderful walks to discover at Mount Edgcumbe Park.

The host was very friendly and welcoming she was always available and assisted us when needed. The scenery was spectacular with a very peaceful atmosphere. Be prepared for very narrow roads if you are driving and take care around bends. Beaches are close by and worth visiting however, there is no wheelchair access to any of them. For walks we walked up the hills which again its worth the climb to watch the sunset and beautiful views. Definitely would visit Mowhay barn again in the near future! Oh the homemade scones and jam were a lovely welcome upon arrival! ...

It is a very rural property so reached by some archetypal country lanes, where you may well meet tractors, walkers, cyclists and horse riders so it's always sensible to drive with this in mind. Lovely views from the house and garden. Not really any walks from the door, but plenty of good coastal walks within a few miles. Mount Edgcumbe country park is excellent to explore and the passenger ferries from Cremyll to various parts of Plymouth were useful, especially as the weather wasn't too good....
