Our hosts gave us food to the feed the alpacas on the next field and brought us a freshly caught mackerel. It was little touches like this that made the whole experience a memory to last forever.

Absolutely fantastic short break! We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and were never disturbed. The hot tub was lush and so were the gorgeous alpacas! We will recommend and definitely returning the future

Absolutely brilliant stay, welcoming owners, beautiful setting, facilities were above and beyond, cosey but everything you need, the log fire hot tub was great to relax in, beautiful views and close to everything you might need should you wish to leave. We were more than happy enjoying shepherds oak and all or had to offer. Can’t wait to come back !...

Shepherds oak was a dream! Booked for my girlfriends holiday which landed on a bank holiday, I thought would be a night mare however booking through classic cottages and the hosts Paul and Barbara were amazing! Will defenitly return! The place was clean and had everything you wanted for a short break and the hot tub was amazing!...
