Thank you so much for finding us such a superb alternative to our original booking. Like getting a flight upgrade! Exceeded expectations. This is a very special property; we have never rented anywhere quite like it. Certainly never anywhere so well equipped. We all travelled with our usual boxes of decent kitchen knives, spatulas, tea towels, cloths, cleaning and washing up products etc, all items which are often either lacking completely or supplied but inadequate in many rentals. We didn’t need any of it! The Mill and Cottage should be held up as the best example of ‘how it should be done’! Comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, efficient heating. And of course, a stunning building and garden. The working waterwheel was a wonderful addition, the grandchildren were fascinated and willing to listen to Granddad’s explanations, and loved sitting waiting for the bats to visit. We are very grateful for being allowed to have visitors and to entertain our friends in this wonderful setting. ...

What great place to stay hope to go again with all the family like we did this time. Nice and private plenty of space never under felt as tho you got in each others way well worth every penny. Very cosy away from traffic but not far from the main roads...
