Bring your walking boots and discover the wild expanse of Dartmoor.
Dawlish has a lovely sandy beach.
Shaldon is worth a visit and Teignmouth is just across the bridge.

The surroundings were lovely - so peaceful and the wildlife! So many birds. A deer strolled by the windows. The small stream outside our windows - so pretty. Could not fault the cleanliness of the place and after a long drive to be welcomed with scones/jam/clotted cream - what more could you ask for. Please visit - you don't know what you are missing....

A lovely property for a completely peaceful escape surrounded by beautiful gardens lovingly tended by the owners. Plenty of privacy and outside space and not an un-natural sound to be heard!!!! The Forge was perfect for our party this time which included a fragile 97 year old parent (who totally loved her stay). Convenient for visiting Dartmoor and the coast. Mr and Mrs Jamie were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

Excellent property and amenities but shame the WiFi was so very poor. You could only pick it up outside the property which is not ideal for planning days out, especially if it is raining!.

Leigh Farm is set on the eastern edge of Dartmoor National park and as such WiFi signal can unfortunately be a little patchy on occasion in some areas so we're sorry for any inconvenience. What a lovely place for a holiday. The Forge was a cosy cottage to come back to. The gardens are beautiful and a lovely place for sitting and enjoying the surroundings. The surrounding fields afford lovely views across the valley. We hope to come back to enjoy this gorgeous part of Devon again. Highly recommended....
