The double bedroom (Bedroom 1) has a king-size bed.

The Parlour is next to The Linhay (2661). Both are designed to be very private but can be linked together to create a larger cottage.

The second bedroom (Bedroom 2) has plenty of space for three beds.

The Parlour is in the nearest cluster of buildings to the left of the photograph, Golden Cap is beyond and Chideock village is to the right.
Walk for miles and miles in the wonderful scenery of the National Trust Golden Cap estate.
Charmouth beach is a great place for children to search for fossils.
National Trust Lambert's Castle is an undiscovered gem for walks with extraordinary views of the Jurassic Coast (you can see to Portland) and the Dorset countryside.
Visit West Bay with it's sandy cliffs. It's the 'home' of Broadchurch.
Venture a little further afield to 'Hardy Country' near Dorchester. This is Thomas Hardy's cottage.
The beautiful little town of Lyme Regis deserves a visit. Take a walk along the historic Cobb and, at low tide, perhaps go on a fossil hunt.

We had a super week at The Parlour. The cottage itself is warm and welcoming, clean and comfortable. It is bright and spacious with stunning views from the main living area, private garden and master bedroom. You could happily stay here and enjoy the lovely walks on your doorstep without venturing any further afield but it is also conveniently located on the Dorset coastline for enjoying many day trips only a short drive away. Our highlights were a walk along Monmouth beach to see the ammonite pavement, fossil hunting on Charmouth beach and a walk up Golden Cap. We will certainly return to The Parlour on our next visit to Dorset and wouldn’t hesitate to use Classic Cottages again. ...

Perfect accommodation with beautiful walks right from the doorstep. Stunning view of Golden Cap from the window which is beautiful when your sitting out there eating your meal with a glass of something chilled. The Parlour is in a lovely location on a working farm and has great views. The house had everything and was spotless. The kitchen is bigger than it looks in the photo and had lots of equipment. From the house is 10 min walk to the beach which is pebbled. Great walks straight from the door. Will be returning definitely and wish I could live there....
