A lovely cottage, exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. A great area for exploring the coast.

We absolutely loved staying at the parlour for my husbands 40th birthday. Owners have thought of everything. Beds are super comfy. Alison came to greet us when we arrived with flowers and milk and a Easter egg for our little boy, she gave us some tips on places to walk. Its the perfect central location for visiting the jurassic coast. ?? ...

Excellent cottage in beautiful location with good nearby pubs and very helpful owner. Perfect holiday thank you.

If you are looking for a peaceful location then this is the place to stay. Lots of beautiful country side and fantastic walks near by. Easy access to the Jurassic coast too . Our third stay and it never disappoints, we even discovered the coastal bus service this time which was very handy too!...

We had a very enjoyable week staying in the parlour with our 8 month old son. The location is simply stunning and the property really makes the most of the views. It was so nice to only hear birds of the morning and no noise of cars or neighbours. There is a campsite in the field right next door but that didn't disturb us at all and again the farm was also very quiet during our stay only seeing the tractor a couple of times. We found the property to be a great base for exploring the immediate area with Lyme Regis, Beer and West Bay only a short drive away. We also did one day in Weymouth and this was only a 40 min drive. We took a walk down to Seatown and found the lovely pub and had lunch there on our first day. We found the cottage to be comfortable and largely clean but the soft furnishings and decor did seem a little tired and a couple of items were sadly unusable kettle had too much limescale to use for boiling water for our 8 month son and the parasol for the garden table was missing a bolt to secure it to the base, which meant sadly we couldnt sit out and have our dinner on the lovely outdoor table as we had no where to keep our son in the shade. We've stayed in a number of holiday cottages over the years and I would say this has the best location we have ever experienced but we have stayed in others where the cottage feels nicer....
