A really pretty cottage, well equipped & clean with lots of local walks from the gate. Nice to have decent large bath towels & a good local pub.

Always enjoy the cottage, it’s facilities and its location not to mention the cleanliness of the property.

Brookside Cottage is a charming cottage, set in a lovely location. It was a real delight to lie in bed in the mornings and listen to the birds singing and the brook babbling. The garden was really pretty and we enjoyed breakfasts and lunches alfresco. There are some excellent walks from the doorstep and the Combes and Hills of the Quantocks are well worth exploring. You could probably spend a week there and not need to use the car....

Our first visit to Somerset, & we weren’t disappointed. Such a beautiful cottage set at the bottom of the Quantock Hills. Loved the fact you could do numerous walks from your doorstep. The cottage was lovely & clean, many thanks to Jules the housekeeper. Very cosy, comfortable beds, just loved everything about it. Also the local pub The Plough, which was 5 minutes walk, friendly staff good food & a nice selection of Beers/ales. We visited Watchet, Cheddar Gorge & Dunster Castle, as well as a visit to Kilve Beach & Chantry Tea garden near the beach. The carrot cake was lovely. The only complaint was our week went too quickly....
