The main positive point is the position of the cottage and the rambling possibilities from the cottage. No car required to get to a walking spot. Amazing nature on the doorstep.

Smugglers Cottage was truly a wonderful place for us to spend a week. It's in such a lovely location. Remote, yet close enough to a town that you can pop out to the shops. The walks on your doorstep are truly stunning and we spent most of our time outdoors. Whilst indoors though there is a lovely wood burner to keep cosy and one of the best equipped kitchens I've seen in a holiday cottage. Couldn't recommend the place enough and really happy we chose it. Directions on getting there were spot on as well....

Recommend, particularly for visitors with dogs. However, there is very little hot water to be drawn at one time ie for a bath, and there is only one smallish table in the cottage to sit at, which is adequate for two to eat at, but certainly not big enough for more than one person to sit at with a laptop and papers, or a jigsaw etc. So this not a cottage big enough for two people to stay home and amuse themselves on a rainy day, unless one of them is going to read on the sofa....

What a gem! Tucked out of the way close to the coast and excellent for dogwalking, but still within very easy reach of local facilities.
