Lady Emma’s is a beautiful house, very peaceful with an abundance of wildlife in all directions. There are loads of walks from the doorstep and you can revive in the hot tub after a days walking. We loved mount Edgcumbe park and also took a ferry across to Plymouth. A week didn’t seem long enough, we will have to return at some point....

The place to go for getting away from it all.

Fabulous location for peace, relaxation, beautiful walks, etc. Housekeepers do an awesome job to make you welcome with every detail thought about and house very clean and tidy on arrival.

The cottage was more than I had expected- what a beautiful location even in the rain! The cottage was warm and cosy with plenty of room for our party of 7 adults. We enjoyed walks from the cottage to Kingsand and also walking to Cremyll to take the ferry across to Plymouth. Spectacular views and the camellias in Mount Edgcumbe country park were a joy!...

There is no doubt in our minds that Lady Emma’s Cottage is one of the best self catering cottages we’ve yet to experience. The remoteness provides an excellent retreat and makes for a wonderful base for spectacular walks along the South West Coast.
