This gorgeous cottage on the dramatic north Devon coast will take your breath away. Midway between Combe Martin and Ilfracombe, high up on the hillside, the stunning contemporary interior goes hand-in-hand with an equally stunning 180 degree sea view.

The Linney is a detached barn conversion in a private position with a wide open panoramic view at the front and a lovely sheltered courtyard garden at the back. There is a striking open plan living/dining/kitchen-area with floor to ceiling glass doors to the terrace, whitewashed beams and beautiful natural terracotta floors with full under-floor heating.

After an exhilarating day out you will love the two luxurious bedrooms, with plump feather bedding, fabulous wet-room and bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower.

The Linney has just had a complete makeover and could not be a better example of how the character of an old property can be perfectly dove-tailed with an exceptional modern interior.

The atmosphere at this most stylish cottage is warm and welcoming, definitely a place to return to time and again. It has a very private position at Lydford Farm, set apart from the historic farmstead at the head of a large open field.

Further down the hill is a very small campsite run by the owners but very unobtrusive and sheltered by trees – you can make the most of the little seasonal farm shop that is open from April to September.

Berrynarbor is the closest village and there is a wonderful community-run shop there, as well as a great pub. This part of the north Devon coast is exciting to visit, whatever the time of year, with dramatic cliffs, small coves – some with sandy bays and some with rockpools to explore. The challenge of this section of the South West Coast Path is the best way to see all this!

Some coastal properties, despite the wide open outlook, suffer issues with internet, mobile phone and television signal strengths in the same way that rural properties can too. The Linney is occasionally affected in this way but of course we hope that the unique setting for this property and its stunning views will prove to be the main criteria for your holiday. Please note the charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at this property. However there are a number of charging points locally.
