Where to visit in Ceredigion
Magical Cardigan Bay is the largest bay along the Welsh coastline. Rich in wildlife, you’ve a good chance of spotting bottlenose dolphins, porpoises, seals and many marine birds on a boat trip or simply wandering along the coast path. There’s plenty of watersports to indulge in too, including coasteering, surfing and kayaking from a number of Blue Flag beaches. The countryside is rather special too, with its nature reserves, rural market towns, and cosy, welcoming pubs. And if walking’s your thing, you’ll be spoilt for choice in this magical part of the world, with lots of countryside trails to explore.
Many other outdoor adventures await, including cycling, fishing, horse riding, stargazing, and golf. And if you fancy a spot of climbing or mountain biking, the Cambrian Mountains are the ideal place.
Oh, and don’t forget to head to the Teifi Valley to sample their award-winning cheese and take a few treats home with you. Whilst you're there, you could also canoe along the river.
