There is a wonderful open fire in the sitting-room.Middle Lodge from the enclosed garden. The master bedroom has this lovely balcony for morning coffee.There is a separate dining-area with French windows to the patio and garden.
 
Looking from the sitting-room through to the dining-area.This traditional Victorian villa has had a very contempory makeover. It is a cheerful and stylish place to stay.Two sets of French windows and plantation shutters throw a lovely light into the kitchen.
 
Another view of the kitchen which has plenty of space for the breakfast table.Even the hall and stairwell are welcoming and light spaces.The master bedroom, Bedroom 1, has a lovely balcony overlooking the enclosed garden. A great place for early morning tea!
 
This is another view of the spacious master bedroom. The plantation shutters create a calm and restful feeling.There is wonderful attention to detail throughout the whole property. Bedroom 2, at the front of the house, has a pretty bay window with a deep windowsill.
 
Bedroom 2, as with all the bedrooms, has a feeling of calm luxury.This is the third double bedroom, Bedroom 3, again with pretty accessories and a luxurious bed.The family bathroom is incredibly spacious and has original panelled walls.
 
The bathroom fittings are in keeping with the contemporary feel of this lovely family sized house.Another view of the bathroom, you have the choice of a bath or shower.French windows open from the dining-area onto the very private and sheltered patio.
 
The patio is tucked into a lovely private position with direct access from both the dining-area and the kitchen.You will really enjoy your stay at this lovely friendly house.There is a local ferry service around Poole Harbour.
 
Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour is a great outing.Another view of the National Trust's Brownsea Island and house. The wonderful view from Sandbanks over to the famous Studland coastline.

Poole Harbour, Sandbanks, the beautiful Jurassic Coast starting at Studland and taking in Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door – these fabulous Dorset beaches and landmarks are within easy reach of Middle Lodge. Set between Poole and Bournemouth in a lovely area of wide avenues and pine trees, Middle Lodge is a great destination. The beach at Branksome Chine, just one of several sandy beaches to choose from, is within walking distance through the pine woods. The local ‘villages’ of Westbourne and Penn Hill offer delicatessens, cafes, restaurants and designer shopping to suit all. Middle Lodge is a luxuriously refurbished semi-detached Victorian house. The stylish sitting/dining-room has BT Vision, an open fire and period features whilst the large kitchen is designed for sociable living and opens directly out onto the private enclosed garden. Three gorgeous double bedrooms upstairs – one with a balcony overlooking the garden – share a really spacious family bathroom. All the top quality furnishings have been chosen to create a very contemporary easy-living atmosphere. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
