Overlooking the bustling fishing port of Brixham, its harbour full of boats of all sizes and shapes, Pebblestones is one of a terrace set high up above the harbour. It is approached by a narrow road (where you can unload outside, but you will need to park elsewhere) and has steps up to the front door.
Warm and cosy whatever the season, the living-room inside has leather sofas arranged around the open fire. A step leads into the under-floor heated kitchen, where a door opens out to the terraced garden, its patio accessed by steep stone steps. Brixham boasts a rocky beach, an open-air salt-water swimming pool (summer only) and bracing cliff walks. All in all this is a great little house.
