Close to Dorset's spectacular Jurassic Coast, the popular market town of Bridport and the harbour and beach at West Bay, this cottage has stunning views of the gentle Dorset countryside around it.

Celtic Blessing is a comfortable and cosy traditional cottage. The cottage has some vintage features and a warming wood-burner at its heart. The atmosphere is so peaceful, you may decide to simply relax with a book in the garden-room or on the sheltered verandah above the enclosed garden, watching the wildlife - a variety of garden birds, buzzards and even deer often appear in the valley.

Cheerful mealtimes at the welcoming farmhouse table can be spent planning coastal walks, local trips, fossil collecting or fishing adventures.

It is only a short drive to the sea and the beautiful coastline three and half miles away. This really is a perfect base, all year round.

Celtic Blessing is nestled amongst the breathtaking scenery of 'Far from the Madding Crowd' - explore nearby the beauty of Mapperton Manor, West Bay and Symondsbury, where filming took place - not forgetting 'Broadchurch' (also filmed locally).

Bridport has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with a twice weekly market, some quirky shops and independent stores. A short drive takes you to the beach at Seatown, where you will find the Anchor Inn serving gorgeous food using locally sourced produce.

Further afield, Lyme Regis is well worth a visit with its famous Cobb, sandy beach and fossil shops; interest for all ages.
