Pack up the car and head west – Clematis Cottage is just gorgeous! Thatched, semi-detached, with a terraced garden filled with shrubs and climbers tumbling down the many steps, and a large sloping grassed area, this is a picture postcard cottage. Guests enter straight into the modern kitchen/dining-room, which leads to the spacious sitting-room with its beamed ceiling, open fire and door to the garden and a covered patio. Typical of a cottage dating back to the 1700s, the stairs are steep and winding, with steps up into each of the bedrooms and the bathroom from the very small landing. The double bedroom is decorated in calming whites and creams and the bathroom is particularly spacious for an old property.
